 Mary Carol (Van Bellinger) (Killoran) Neville, 78, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on September 21, 2018. Mary was born in Green Bay on September 19, 1940, to Alice (Brula) and Joseph Van Bellinger. 

Mary graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1958 from St. Norbert College in 1962.  She taught elementary school briefly in the Green Bay public school system before teaching for many years at Annunciation Catholic Grade School.  She later worked for and retired from Wisconsin Public Service Corporation. 

In 1963, Mary married Grant “Skip” Killoran.  He preceded her in death in 1970.  They had two children, Grant and Erin.   

Mary married Harold J. Neville, Jr. on October 11, 1991.  The two enjoyed wintering in Florida and travel, including trips to Hawaii, Ukraine, Ireland, France, Japan, Mexico, Croatia and Slovenia, and throughout the continental United States and Canada.  She was a member of and volunteer for the American Association of University Women, the Green Bay & De Pere Antiquarian Society, the Brown County Civic Music Association and the De Pere Garden Club. She and Harold also put in countless hours of early morning volunteer work serving breakfast to those in need at the homeless shelter at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. 

Mary was smart, hardworking and kind to all.  She loved her husband, children and grandchildren and her friends.  She enjoyed gardening and travel, including her experiences with People to People International Travel Programs, both as a traveler and a host. She was a tireless supporter of youth sports and watched countless games over her lifetime.  She was famous for her Chex Mix, deviled eggs and cherry bounce. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Harold, and her children, Grant (Carrie) Killoran of Milwaukee and Erin (Joseph) Shea of Chicago, Illinois, and her five grandchildren, Joseph, John “Jack” and Mary Shea, and Grant “Owen” and Margaret “Maggie” Killoran.  She also is survived by her brother James (Jackie) Van Bellinger. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday September 27, 2018, from 4:00 - 7:45 pm at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street.  There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:45 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John Street on Friday, September 28, 2018.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday at the church with Abbot Gary Neville O. Praem and Rev. James Nielson O. Praem concelebrating.  

A memorial fund has been established for Notre Dame Academy High School, 610 Maryhill Drive, Green Bay to help fund student scholarships in memory of Mary.
