Earl H. Baierl, 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born in Luxemburg on February 1, 1933, to the late Joe and Mary Baierl. Earl graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1950. He worked on the family farm with his parents, 1955-1958, until they passed. Earl married the love of his life Judy Bredael on October 19, 1963. He then worked as a machine tender at Proctor & Gamble for over 30 years until his retirement in 1990. Earl loved to travel with his beloved wife Judy and they visited almost all 50 states including Hawaii and Alaska. He was a great Packer fan, witnessing Don Hutson play twice and becoming a season ticket holder when the stadium was built in 1957. Earl closely followed the UWGB Men’s Basketball team for 15 years, following them to 2 NCAA games in Dallas and Austin; he also kept an eye on the UWGB Women’s Basketball team for 10 years, following them to NIT games in Ames, IA. Earl’s favorite pastimes include gardening, theater, bird watching and listening to music from the 1950’s and 60’s – especially Polka, and he was always ready to play cards with friends and family. An avid reader, Earl has read over 1000 books and has made many puzzles with Judy reading next to him.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judith (Judy) Baierl; two sons, Mark (Mindy) and Mike (Karla) Baierl; five grandchildren, Zachary, Samantha, Benjamin, Samuel, and Elijah; siblings, Pat (Fred) Dalebroux and Mary Ann Berger; and sister-in-law, Ellen Baierl.

Earl was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary; and siblings, Joe (Madeline), Roland, Clarence (Doris), and Arnold (Delores) Baierl; brother-in-law, John Berger.
