Delano M. “Mickey” Brosig, 84, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018.  He was born on Nov. 23, 1933, in Green Bay to the late Sylvester and Dorothy “Dora” (Beth) Brosig.  He was the youngest of ten children.  Mickey attended St. Philips School and graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1954.  In June 1955, he started working for the city of Green Bay in the Engineering Department, where he stayed for the next 40 years.  During this time, he worked under eight different mayors and got to know all of the architects, engineers and contractors on a first name basis.  He enjoyed taking care of his property and spent all winter making things and fixing stuff in the basement.

Delano is survived by his sisters, Mollie Roznowski and Clara Krcma; special nieces and nephew, Sandy Steffens, Sharon Pelegrin and Ron Morreau, as well as many additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Delano Is preceded in death by seven siblings, Ernestine Morreau, Verda (Joe) Baenen, Lorraine Gerlikovsky, Dorothy (Phil) Karchinski, Rita Brosig, Herbert Brosig and Sylvester (Rosemary) Brosig Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Ray Roznowski and Paul Krcma; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018, with a brief Prayer Service following.  Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
