Jason J. Spice, 46, of Ashwaubenon, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  He was born January 17, 1972, in Green Bay, to Jack and Joyce (Schmidt) Spice.

Jason was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, Class of 1990.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.  For over 20 years, Jason worked for Proctor and Gamble as a forklift operator and mechanic.  Jason was a very technical person who had a lot of dexterity.  He loved spending time pulling apart and building motors, motorcycles, playing guitar with friends, and going to shooting ranges.  In his early years, Jason loved to go fishing, hunting and spending his time outdoors.  Jason was an incredibly dedicated father who cared for his adopted daughter Chloe who had Rhett’s Syndrome.  He never asked for anything; he was always a giving soul who felt he had to take care of everyone else.  Jason will be remembered as a genuine, unique, interesting, and giving person.

Jason is survived by his parents; Jack and Joyce Spice; his brother, Jarrett Spice; his aunts and uncles, Robert (Roxy) Schmidt, Gerald (Carol) Schmidt, Roger (Joan) Schmidt, Nancy Schmidt, Ruth Schmidt, Dan (Carol) Spice, Bill (Judy) Spice, Patricia Pierquet, Jeanne (Wally) Jennings, Mary Ann (Wayne) Brandinisio,; his niece, Hailey Spice; his nephew, Jace Jaglo; his best friends, Jamie (Bridget) Brien, and many other cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Chloe; his maternal and paternal grandparents, Gladys and Frank Schmidt, Jr., Elton and Jeanette Spice; his aunts and uncles, Jerry Pierquet, Jerry VanEss, Frank Schmidt III., Richard Schmidt; his cousins, Lori Pierquet and Jerry Schmidt, Jr.

Friends may call at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida Street, on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at the church, with the Rev. Michael Ingold officiating.  Entombment will be in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jason’s name to benefit the Disabled American Veterans.
