Joseph “Joe” Lee Lambert, 74, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018, at home surrounded by family. He was born on October 20, 1943, in Green Bay, to the late Cletus and Loretta (Deterville) Lambert. From 1961-1962, Joe went on to proudly serve in the United States Military, Army. On January 19, 1963, Joe married Alice Ann Bins. He continued to serve in the United States Reserves until 1969 while raising his family.  After 40 years of service as an electrician, Joe retired from F.M.C. After retirement, Joe loved being a crossing guard and working with “his kids.” He enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s sporting events. His family was his main priority and time with them was his true blessing. He was a member of The United Steel Workers Local 6050. He also liked to fish on Shawano Lake with his good friend, Chuck.

Joe will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Alice Lambert, his children; Brenda Belson, Green Bay, Lisa (Steve) Lenz, Waupun, Mike (Jennifer) Lambert, Little Chute; grandchildren, Matt (Sam) Belson, Caitlyn Belson, Maxted Lenz and special friend Shannon Huberty, Samuel Lenz and special friend Haleigh Kaiser, Jak Lenz, Grace Lenz, Emma Lambert (special friend, Steve McSweeney), Tate Lambert (special friend Payton Manteuffel, Greyson Lambert; great grandchildren, Camden and Bronson Belson. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters in-law, Carol (Russ) Grassl, Joe (Pam) Bins, and John (Delores) McIntyre.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his grandson, Sean David; sister, Karen Dreier; father and mother in-law, George and Elsie Preiwe-McIntyre-Bins, and brother in-law, Tom (Carol) McIntyre.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Robert Rhyner officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
