Donna Mae Robinson, 54, Green Bay resident, died Friday, December 1, 2017, at a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 5, 1963 in Green Bay to James and Anna Mae (DeGroot) Swanson. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Grade School, Green Bay West High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. Donna married Don Robinson in 1991 in Las Vegas. They moved to Anchorage, Alaska following her graduation where she began her career as an emergency room nurse. In 2001 Donna and Don moved to Lombard, Illinois until moving back to Green Bay this past year. Donna was an amazing cook and kept busy with various projects. She was an animal lover and enjoyed the company of family pets her entire life. Her family was her priority and she was definitely the “Best Army Mom” supporting her two daughters currently serving in the United States Army.

 Donna is survived by her two daughters, Brooke (Mario Alanis) Robinson, Martinez, GA and Emily Robinson, Fort Carson, CO; her parents, Jim and Anna Mae Swanson, Green Bay; seven siblings: Mary Ann Bjorklund and Yvo Boers, Allouez; Steve (Donna) Swanson, Poulsbo, WA; Linda (Jim) Viall, Ashwaubenon; Marilyn (Steve) Dahlen, Silver Lake, WI; Lisa (Josh) Richardson, Milwaukee; David (Renee) Swanson, Green Bay and Rich (Candy) Swanson, Farmington, MN; seven nieces and three nephews; the father of her children, Don Robinson, West St. Paul, MN; her beloved pets, Bacon and Bo.

 Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1224 12th Ave., on Wednesday, December 6, from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church with Rev. Michael Thiel officiating. Burial in the Goodman Township Cemetery, Goodman, Wisconsin. Online condolences may be sent to the Robinson family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in her name.
