Barbara M. Yahnke (Stein), 65, Krakow, passed away unexpectedly, due to natural causes, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.  She was born in Green Bay on September 9, 1952, to the late Joseph and Ruth (Bohne) Stein.  Barb was a long-time employee of Canterbury Farm and Greenhouses, fulfilling her passion for gardening.  More recently she enjoyed running her soap business “Labor of Love Soapery”.  Barb was an avid Brewers fan, never missing a game, and enjoyed watching the Packers.  Being an animal lover, she was very caring to her 4 cats and the birds she often watched and fed.  Barb was very compassionate and generous and would do anything she could for her family and her friends.

Barb will be deeply missed by her sons, Matthew (Amber) Yahnke and Jacob Yahnke (significant other, Rebekah Catalano); 2 grandchildren, Jude and Leo Yahnke; 3 siblings, Ellie DeRuyter, Steven (Jean) Stein and Carol Stein; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Barb was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and her brother, Lynn.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service on Monday, December 4, 2017.   The Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Sheldon Miles officiating.  Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
