Karen Pieschek

Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Jan 23, 1942

Died on Oct 09, 2017 and resided in Bellevue, Wisconsin

Karen L. Pieschek, 75, Bellevue resident, passed away early Monday morning, October 9, 2017, surrounded by her family, at her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born January 23, 1942 in Green Bay to the late Elmer and Rena (Doyen) Demoulin. Karen graduated from Green Bay Preble High School. She was employed by ERA Titletown Realtors for over 20 years until her retirement. Karen was also a member of Prince of Peace Parish.

Karen was the most devoted grandmother to her five grandchildren. She spent all her time at their sporting events when they were younger. Karen never missed an opportunity to cheer them on and her grandchildren could always count on her to bring them some kind of treat to enjoy after the game.

Karen loved spending holidays with her family. She always made Christmas cookies for everyone. Karen loved to cook and bake for family, friends and neighbors and everyone loved her soups. She also enjoyed the many lunches and dinners with her girlfriends throughout the years. Time spent at Scott and Tina’s cottage was always looked forward to, as was taking care of all the family dogs.

Most recently her one last wish was to see her first great grandchild, Maverick, born. His big smile brought such joy to her the final eight months of her life. Karen always cherished visits to the Shrine in Champion. This holy place gave her peace.

Karen is survived by her three children: Lisa (Robert) Adams; Scott (Tina Fairbairn) Pieschek, all of Green Bay and Eric Pieschek, Algoma; five grandchildren: Nicholas (Kelli) Adams, Bryan Adams, Mitchell Pieschek, Casey Pieschek and Kaylee Pieschek; her great grandson, Maverick Adams; her sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Richard) Zimonick, Green Bay, nephews and a niece.
