Henry Edward Mileski, 89, Green Bay, died Saturday, October 7, 2017.  He was born February 26, 1928, in the Town of Eaton to Stanley and Julia (Nitka) Mileski.  On November 30, 1946, he married Marcella “Marge” De Grand at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the two enjoyed over 67 wonderful years together.  Henry was a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. 

He began a career in papermaking at American Can, retiring 28 years ago from James River.  Henry loved playing cards, bingo and doing puzzles.  He also enjoyed watching Packer games and spending time with his family.  He volunteered his time and talents for St. Vincent de Paul and St. Philip Parish. 

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Dick and Irene Mileski, Darrell and Teri Mileski, Carol Mileski, Lynn and John Mastalir, Debbie and Joe Herman, Julie and John Schmitz; eight grandchildren who called him Grandpa Hanker, Linda (Bo), Theresa (CJ), Marlene (J), Mike, Cody, Talia (special friend Adam), Tyler (Martha) and Jenna (fiancé Cody); his great-grandchildren, Joseph, Gina, Grant, Corey, J, Luke, Kavari, Skyler and Bennett; a great-great-grandson, Hunter; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Clarence and Ethel Mileski and Esther De Grand; nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella “Marge”; an infant son Gerald; his sister, Irene Szymanski; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St.  There will be a parish wake service at 7:00 p.m. to close the visitation.  Visitation will continue from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. Thursday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. William Hoffman officiating.  Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. 

 Henry’s family extends a special thank you to the staff at Age Well and Unity Hospice for all the care given to our Dad.  Thanks for being the best Dad!  We will miss you.  Love you Dad!
