Alex M. Aulik, 25, Green Bay, passed away Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Unity Hospice Residence in De Pere, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 8, 1992, in Green Bay, son to Mike and Jill (Johnson) Aulik. Alex graduated from Green Bay Preble High School in 2011, and attended UW-Milwaukee and the College of Lake County in Illinois. Alex had worked as a chef/sous chef at various restaurants in Green Bay, Illinois and Florida.

Alex’s passion was cooking. He had a real gift creating dishes and adding his special twist to recipes. Alex enjoyed going to music concerts, watching Netflix and documentary movies (especially enjoying the show Shameless). He enjoyed Black Friday shopping, stocking up on more shoes and cologne, painting and art, and going thrift store shopping collecting old LP’s and vintage records. But most of all he enjoyed being with friends and family making them laugh and smile.

He will be deeply missed by his father, Mike (Paula Rheingans) Aulik; mother, Jill Niedzwiecki; 2 sisters, Kayla Dachelet (Jesse Gignac) and Kristin Dachelet; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Aulik; maternal grandmother, Carol Johnson; aunts and uncles: Mark and Linda Aulik, Godmother, Maggie Aulik, Patrick Aulik, Jenny Hnilicka, Harvey Shusta, and Susan Johnson; cousins: Scott (Candice) Aulik, Amy (Bill) Rice, Ella and Edger Aulik, Nicole Nutting, Matt Shusta, and Owen Johnson; and a niece, Brielle Gignac.

Alex was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Eugene “Gardo” Aulik; maternal grandfather, Jerry Johnson; aunt and Godmother, Jeri Shusta; uncle, Charlie Johnson; “Mom” at heart, Michelle Dachelet; and many close classmates and friends.
