Emily (Klish) Drewieske, 95, Green Bay, passed away Friday, September 08, 2017, at Allouez Parkside Village, where she had lived the past year. She was born October 18, 1921, in Bellevue, WI, daughter to the late John and Josephine (Wertel) Klish. On September 15, 1945, she married Donald Drewieske at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove.

Emily’s faith was very important to her and she was a devout Catholic. She belonged to the Altar Society at Holy Cross in Bay Settlement, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Parish in Green Bay. She attended weekly mass regularly up until 14 months ago.

Emily enjoyed the Catholic Knights Insurance events and was a member of the DAV Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking for her family, gardening (up until 10 yrs. ago), and praying the rosary daily.

Survivors include husband, Donald; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Richard (Linda) Drewieske, and their two daughters, Laura Drewieske, Happy Valley, OR, and Christine Drewieske, Gresham, OR; John (Rita) Drewieske and their three daughters, Kate Drewieske and her daughter, Mallory, Rohnert Park, CA; Dory Heran, Green Bay; Yana Vandersteen, and her two children, Braylon and Nicholi, Green Bay.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Frank, Albert, Bernard, Antone, and Roger Klish; sisters: Jenny Gazdula, Angeline Pintor, and Marion Klish.

Family and friends may visit Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The evening will conclude with the praying of the Rosary. Visitation will continue on Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John St., Green Bay, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Joseph Dorner officiating.
