Hillarion “Hal” DuBois, 91, New Franken, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 25, 2017.  He was born on June 5, 1926, in the Town of Red River to the late Louis and Victoria (DeBeck) DuBois.  Hal served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He married the former Lucille Paye on November 20, 1947.  Lucille preceded Hal in death on July 15, 2001.  Hal was a Longtime member of the American Legion Post 262, served as a special deputy sheriff for Brown County, worked security through Civil Defense for many different events and retired from Procter and Gamble after 42 years.  On May 16, 2003, Hal married Valerie Andre at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, recently celebrating 14 years together.  Hal enjoyed playing cards, listening and dancing to polka music, training and caring for horses, and gardening.

Hillarion will be deeply missed by his wife, Valerie; 4 children, Verna (Dave) Peer, Myron DuBois (fiancé, Kristin Keithley), Vicky (Chris) Kelly, and Kevin (Kathy) DuBois; 11 grandchildren, Sherry Ristow, Jennifer (Kenny) Charles, Michelle (Rich) Simons, Katie (Brian) Seremet and Phillip (Christina) DuBois, Elizabeth and Patrick Kelly, Kelsey, Kristopher, Katelyn and Kenzie DuBois; 10 great grandchildren; a sister Judy DuBois; and step children, family and friends.

In addition to his first wife and parents, Hal is preceded in death by a son, Kenny, a brother, Hilary DuBois; and 5 sisters, Albina Derenne, Helen Finendale, LaVerne Siegmund, Evelyn Ferron and Marge Barlament.

Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 29, 2017, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5930 Humboldt Rd., Luxemburg, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Church with Father Lukee officiating.  Entombment will be in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.Prokowall.com.
