Daniel G. Osmond, 64, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 6, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Green Bay on November 29, 1952, to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Delvoye) Osmond. Daniel married the former Patricia VanBeek on June 5, 1976. Dan began working as a machinist for FMC for 10 years before starting his own business, O&O Machine, working there until his retirement in June. He enjoyed hunting in his free time and was an avid packer fan, but spending time with family was most important to him. Dan was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather; he was adored by everyone and always left you laughing.

Dan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia; three children, Stephanie (Eric) Heezen, Pulaski, Jennifer Grasse, Green Bay, and Charles (Sherie) Osmond, Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie Mae Grasse-Osmond, Connor Daniel Heezen, Carter Allen Grasse, Addison Ellise Heezen, Logan Daniel Grasse, Onyx Evadan Osmond, and Olive LizMae Osmond. He is further survived by his siblings, Cheryl Prahl, Nancy (Robert) Kroll, and Chris (Mary) Osmond; mother-in-law Kathleen VanBeek; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Kay (Richie) Birkholz, Kathleen Collins, Tom (Barb) VanBeek, Chuck (JoAnne) Strachan, Randy (Cindy) Jakubowski, Vernon (Karen) VanBeek, Mark (Ann) Hill, Mark (Lori) Pennings, and Jim (Shelby) VanBeek; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Dorothy Osmond; two unborn grandchildren, Adah Ciel Heezen, and Ellen Mattea Heezen; his father-in-law, Vernon “Jake” VanBeek, brother-in-law, Gary Collins; sister-in-law Linda VanBeek, and nieces and nephews.

Friends may gather at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Rev. William Hoffman will preside. Entombment will be in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com.
