Patricia M. Anderson (nee Basten), 86, died Friday, June 30, 2017. She was born September 23, 1930, in Green Bay to the late Frank and Emily (Ourada) Basten. Pat grew up in Green Bay and graduated from East High School in 1948. After graduation, she was employed as a switchboard operator for the Wisconsin Telephone Co. Pat met her husband, Harold Anderson, during her teen years at a dance at Bay Beach, and they were married on July 8, 1950. Pat supported Harold as he excelled as a scientist in the paper industry, and they raised their six children in Wausau, Menasha, Neenah, and Green Bay. After Harold’s retirement, they built a home in Suamico that brought them many years of enjoyment. Sunning themselves on the deck was often a favorite pastime. She also enjoyed the times they were able to spend in Florida during the winters. They celebrated 62 years of marriage, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2013.

After Harold’s death, Pat moved to the Renaissance Assisted Living in De Pere. She especially loved the social hours, the entertainment, and all those wonderful desserts. After breakfast Pat could be found drinking coffee, reading the paper, or working on a crossword puzzle.

She is survived by her six children: Mark (Darlene) Anderson, Goodyear, AZ, Therese Tully, Menasha; Debra Nys, Green Bay; Tricia (Scott) Schuldes, Appleton; John (Ann Marie) Anderson, Neenah; Chris Anderson (Patti Hoeft), Harrison; grandchildren: Krystle (Jason), Kyle, Donny (Gina), Brenda, James (Nichol), Sarah, Ryan (Amber), Andrew (Jenny), Michelle (Daniel), Timothy (Alison), Matthew (Laura), Kathryn (Thomas), Stephen, Bailey, and Austin; great-grandchildren: Tristen, Garrett, Tully, Ellyot, Emma, Noah, Rowan, Annabelle, Jack, Isadora, Sawyer, Arianna, Addilyn, Alexander, and Zachary; brothers-in-law, Donald (Dorothy) Anderson, and Andrew Brolin; and other relatives.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, Harold and Robert; sisters, Gladys and Dorothy; and son-in-law, Dennis Nys.
