Robert (Bob) E. Lenz, 68, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at a local hospital. Bob was born January 21, 1949, in Green Bay, son to Elmer and Denise (Baker) Lenz. Bob graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1968, and attended NWTC for Auto Mechanics.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with family and grandchildren, cars, going to concerts in the park, 50’s and 60’s rock music, road-trips (especially to the boat landing), his dogs Buttons and Dixie, and was an avid Packer fan. Bob’s favorite song was, “Summer of ‘69”.

Bob was a member of the Green Bay Area Great Lakes Sports Fisherman’s Club, where he was on the board of directors and active in the club for over 40 years, and organized the fishing tournament for the Special Olympics. He was also on the board of directors for the Starlight Neighborhood Association.

Survivors include his mother, Denise Lenz; significant other, Barbara Wendt; first wife, Karen Lenz; three sons: Marc (Nikki) Lenz, Nick (Charity) Lenz, and Ryan (Stephanie) Lenz; two grandchildren: Dylan Lenz, and Thomas Lenz; three siblings: Gary (Mary) Lenz, Sue (Dave) Van Rens, Denise (Peter) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Elmer.
