Ruth A. Zak, 76, Allouez, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 21, 2017, at Bellin Hospital with her devoted family at her side.  She was born April 9, 1941, in the Town of Rosiere to Elmer and Mabel (LeMense) LeCloux.  On October 14, 1961, she married James Zak at St. Hubert Catholic Church. 

First and foremost, Ruth loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her husband and children, and the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, watching the Packers, gardening, travelling, and playing sheephead. 

Ruth will be sadly missed by her husband of 56 years, James Zak; her children, Deborah (Dave) Pasterski, Scott Zak, Randall (Vicki) Zak, and Lisa (special friend, Patrick) Woelfel; her grandchildren, Kayla Dalton, Marshall and Chandler Zak, Zachary and Tyler Woelfel; her great-grandchildren, Emma and Brayden Dalton; her brothers, Gabe (Carol), Wayne (Barbara), and Rick LeCloux; her sisters, Carol (Vernon) Berger and Linda (Steve) Pinchart; sisters-in-law, Mary LeCloux, Joyce Zak, Sally Zak, and Karon (Gerald) Kita; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mabel LeCloux; her parents-in-law, Flavian and Marion (Appel) Zak; a son-in-law, Martin Woelfel; brothers, Elmer and Kenneth (Sherril) LeCloux; a sister, Nancy LeCloux; and brothers-in-law, Thomas and Willard Zak.

Friends may call at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive in Allouez from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m. Friday at the church with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating.  Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
