Tobajoy W. Levitas, 91, De Pere resident, died Wednesday evening, May 10, 2017, at her home. She was born July 3, 1925 in St. Paul, MN to the late Nathan and Shirley (Mendelson) Weitzman. Tobajoy married Howard Levitas on December 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2000. She was very active all of her life, she especially enjoyed playing tennis and vacationing in the Eagle River area. Tobajoy was a member of Cnesses Israel Synagogue for many years. Her family was always extremely important to her especially spending time with Jessica nad Josh.

 She is survived by two daughters, Jodi (Gerry) Geiger, Neenah and Amy Bell, De Pere; four grandchildren: Joshua (Jackie) Levitas; Lauren, Jessica and Arie Bell; two great grandchildren, Lillajoy and Daven Howard Levitas; one sister-in-law, Ellen Levitas, CA.

 She was preceded in death by one brother, William Weitzman and two brothers-in-law, Bud and James Levitas.

 Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. After 9:30 am Monday until services begin at 10:15 am with Rabbi Shaina Bacharach officiating. The funeral cortege will process to Fort Howard Memorial Park for burial services to begin at 11:00 am. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in her name.  The Levitas family would like to thank the nurses and staff from Unity Hospice as well as Cheryl Schilling and Kelly Bristal, two caregivers from ADRC, for all their care and consideration in taking care of Tobajoy.
