Patricia Mary Boland, 90, De Pere, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at a local hospital. She was born August 10, 1926, in Oak Park, Illinois, daughter to the late Patrick and Lillian (Gamas) Healy. Patricia graduated from Trinity High School in River Forest, IL, and from Mary Mount University, Tarrytown, NY, in 1948 with a degree in Psychology. She married Patrick Boland on January 13, 1951, and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1999.

Patricia enjoyed traveling, gardening, boating, parties, and going to the beauty shop. She also enjoyed spending time in Door County at the family cottage and going to Packer games. Patricia switched from a Chicago Bears fan to a Packer fan when she moved to Green Bay where she enjoyed many fun tailgate parties with her friends.

She was a founding member of Resurrection Catholic Church, and was also a member of Service League of Green Bay, Abbey Belles Garden Club, and the Green Bay Antiquarians.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Stowe; son-in-law, David (Dana) Kohlmeyer; three lovely granddaughters, Kelly Stowe (James), Katie Kohlmeyer (Dan), and Kendall Kohlmeyer; sister, Marilyn McNicoll; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary; brother, Wayne (Eileen); sister, Gwen (Harry) Baldwin; sisters-in-law, Margaret (Jerry) Gleason and Mary (Bob) Greely; and brother-in-law, Richard (Ardyce) Boland.

Family and friends may visit Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 9 a.m. until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting Patricia’s family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Resurrection Catholic Church in Patricia’s name.

Kathy would like to thank the entire staff at Rennes Nursing Home for the loving care of her mother over the years; Resurrection staff—Bishop Bob, Sheila DeLuca, and Mary Meisinger, for all their visits with Pat. Pat’s good friends who visited, sent cards, and brought treats; and to Kathy’s friends who visited, sent cards and lent moral support over the past 15 years.

The beauty shop was a big part of Pat’s life…let’s hope she always has her standing Friday appointment in Heaven!
