James Perrigoue

James P. Perrigoue, 57, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016, with his family by his side after a three and a half year battle with cancer.  Jim was born June 9, 1959, in Green Bay, to the late Francis and June (Hooper) Perrigoue and was a lifelong area resident. He attended Green Bay East High School graduating in 1977. Following high school Jim attended classes at NWTC earning his certification in Police science. He married the former Tina Van Den Busch on April 22, 2000, in Las Vegas. Jim worked as a school bus mechanic for 36 years at First Student Bus Company in Green Bay. He was an avid hunter and fisherman enjoying many weekends up north at the cabin he built and was the ultimate Packer fan. He was a member of St. Matthews Parish. Jim was proud of his family, especially his two granddaughters who were the twinkle in his eye.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Tina Perrigoue of Green Bay; his daughter, Tané Urrea, Goodyear, AZ; his son, Ryan Perrigoue, Milwaukee; two granddaughters, Emma and Olivia Urrea of Goodyear, AZ; three brothers: Bill (Jean) Perrigoue; Joe (Lori) Perrigoue, and Mark Perrigoue, all Green Bay; four sisters: Toni (Norihiro) Sasayama of Alpharetta, GA; Susan Perrigoue-Lucier; Jane Perrigoue, both Green Bay and Michelle Fox, FL; his sister-in-law, Lori (Dave) Bergner of Green Bay; his sister-in-law, Teri Berndt, Fish Creek; his brother-in-law, Ron (Ann) Van Den Busch, Denmark; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fran and Joan Froelich, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Rudy. 

Jim’s family will receive friends and relatives at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 pm Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday after 9:30 am, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 130 St. Matthew St.until time of Mass. Memorial Mass 11:00 am Friday at the church with Rev. Robert Kabat officiating. Online condolences may be sent to Jim’s family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been set up in Jim’s name.

Jim’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of Bellin Oncology, St. Vincent Hospital 6th ICU and especially his niece, Stacy LeBeouf, for all the care and compassion given to Jim and his family.
