Marion F. Fraser, 85, from Green Bay, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Parkview Manor.

She was born July 1, 1927, in Gladstone, MI, and was the daughter of Chester and Mathilda (Carron) Deiter.  Following graduation from high school, the former Marion Deiter married Thomas Fraser on December 1, 1945, in Escanaba, MI and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1983. In their travels they lived in Key West, Florida, moved back to Escanaba and then resided in Green Bay, WI in the early 1960’s.

Marion loved square dancing with her husband Tom. She was able to use her excellent seamstress skills making their outfits.  Marion also loved golfing, bowling, gardening, camping and traveling.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.   She was known and loved for her specialty in making candies and hand painted sugar cookies.  Marion loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren tremendously. 

Over the years Marion was employed by Kaaps Restaurant, the Stratosphere Supper Club and at Northern Glove and Mitten as a Seamstress.

Survivors include her five sons Jim (Deb) Fraser, Green Bay; Ralph Fraser, Havana, FL; Chet (Kari) Fraser, Green Bay; Pete (Loni) Fraser, Whitelaw, WI; Bill (Robin) Fraser, Green Bay;  Three daughters, Marie (Terry) Taylor, Athens, TX; Evelyn Ritchie, Green Bay; Patti (Dave) Fraser-Carter, Bellevue; daughter-in-law, Dee Fraser; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Fraser Jr. and many brothers and sisters.
