Lynn M. Komisarek (Schuster), 55, Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2012 after a brief illness.  She was born in Oshkosh on June 26, 1956 to Mercedes (Yost) and the late David Schuster.   Lynn married James S. Komisarek on September 29, 1979 at St. Matthew Catholic Church.   She was an incredible mother to her three children: Maggie (Gabriel) Morrison, Sun Prairie, WI, Beth, Washington, D.C. and Andrew, Green Bay.

Lynn was a 1974 graduate of Green Bay East High School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.  After working for five years as an Occupational Therapist at Theda Clark, Lynn took time off to raise her children.  After this, she worked for the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Children with Special Healthcare Needs, and was a Clinical Research Associate with St. Vincent Hospital Cancer Center before her most recent position with the Brown County Aging and Disability Resource Center.  Lynn had a special and fun relationship with her co-workers, and an amazing ability to stay in touch with those who loved her. She was involved in Green Bay’s Prince of Peace Catholic Parish. Lynn’s favorite time was spent with her husband and children, of whom she was extremely proud. She loved to visit her kids and had great times in Madison, Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis with them.   She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her, and will be forever missed

Lynn is survived by a supportive family which includes her husband Jim, her three children: Maggie (Gabriel) Morrison, Beth and Andrew; mother Mercedes and her husband William Schuster.  She is also survived by many beloved siblings: Tina Schuster, Ann (Strauder) Nelson, Kenneth (Doreen) Schuster, Arlene Klika, Jean (Robert) O’Donnell, Gregg (Pamela) Schuster, Rita (Scott) Bills, Warren (Mary) Schuster, Mary (Jim) Reynders, Kenneth (Bonnie) Bersch, Judith Komisarek (Stephen Lammers), Randall (Kelly) Komisarek, Donna Messenger, Karen (Fran) Boncher, Lynn (Ernie) Kranich, Susan (Fred) Gretzon, and Jean Komisarek. Lynn’s many nieces and nephews include: Patrick, Kate, and Ross Farley; Maddison, Joshua, and Jordan Nelson; Genine (Bryan) Nowak; Monica (Eric) Hanson; Bill Schuster; Brian (Nicole) Klika, Kyle (fiancé Natalie) Klika; Erin O’Donnell; Anna, Allyson, and Charlie Bills; Brooke and Zoel Schuster; Joshua, Justin, Casey, and Carly Reynders; Jeffrey (Betsy), Dennis (Teah), and Michael Bersch; Randall Jr. (Jenny), Matthew, Carrie, Mark (Courtney), Joshua, and Joseph Komisarek; Melissa Messenger; Chad, Cory (fiancé Stephanie) and Chris Boncher.

She was preceded in death by her father David Schuster; mother and father-in-law Mary Jane and Stanley Komisarek; maternal grandparents Georgine and Mathias Yost, paternal grandparents Ella and Otto Schuster, brother-in-law Donald Klika.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 3 – 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Rd., until time of Mass.  Parish Wake service 7:30 p.m. Thursday.  Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating.  Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.  Online condolences may be sent to Lynn’s family at www.prokowall.com.   In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in her name.

 The family would like to extend a special thank you to the St. Vincent Hospital 6ICU,  9th floor staff, and the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Residence staff for their wonderful care and concern during this difficult time. The family would also like to thank Dr. Manar Alshahrouri for his talent and kindness.
