James Joseph De Grand, 61, of Green Bay, passed away on January 20, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bayon April 7, 1950 to Norman and Marcella (Ducat) De Grand. James served in the United States Airforce. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was avid Packer fan.
Survivors include his partner Jean Dalton; his mother Marcella Van Lanen; daughter Shannon Gresham; 2 grandsons Jordan and Anthony; 7 sisters Helen (Chester) Van Pay, Linda De Grand, Dee Dee (Craig) Letourneau, Cindy (Steve) Metzler, Barbara (Darin) Angstadt, Karen Van Lanen, and Michelle (fiancé Greg Leach) Harry; 3 brothers Glen (Jackie) De Grand, Bill De Grand, and Jerry De Grand; 1 step-brother Ken (Carol) Van Lanen; 3 step-sisters Shirley (Roger) Clark, Judi (Gary) Krawczyk, and Terry (John) Rennells; James Dalton and Jason (Nikole) Dalton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Norman; step-father Wilbert Van Laanen; nephew Alex De Grand; nieces Rachel Mead and Maxine De Grand; grandparents Edward and Maggie De Grand and Willie and Helen Ducat; godfather Bernard Ducat.
