John R. Milquet, age 64, of 4410 Springwood Drive, Town of Grand Rapids, Wood Co.,Wisconsin died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his residence.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Proko-Wall Funeral Home (630 E. Mason Street in Green Bay, Wisconsin, (920-468-4111). Pastor Kent Raddatz will officiate, burial will take place at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at Proko-Wall Funeral Home i nGreen Bay ,WI on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
John was born January 21, 1947 in Green Bay,Wisconsin to the late Norbert and Roseann (Beno) Milquet. He married Kathryn O'Hearn on May 16, 1979 in Green Bay,Wisconsin. John started working for the Green Bay & Western Railroad, then the Wisconsin Central Railroad and ended with the Canadian National Railroad, serving the railroads for 41 years, retiring in May of 2009. He enjoyed building and sailing boats, and traveling to Door County,WI, Michigan and Canada for summer sailing trips. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Milquet of Town of Grand Rapids,WI and their daughter Shannon (Jacob) Klingforth of Milwaukee, WI. Along with John's daughters Lisa Oehldrich (Brian Lardinois) of Green Bay,WI and Theresa (Dan) Margalis of Pensacola, Florida.

Also survived by 4- Brothers, 2- Sisters, 3- Brother-in-laws and 2- Sister-in-laws
He was preceded in death by his Parents, daughter Tammy, brother Paul Milquet, Father-in -law Charles and Mother-in-law Leona O'Hearn, and Brother-in-law Dan O'Hearn.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Douglas Reding and his staff, along with the staff at Riverview Medical Center and Ministry Homecare Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care.
