William C. Luedtke, 80, Dyckesville, died on Jan. 11, 2012 atBellinHospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 3, 1931 the late William and Helen (Meyher) Luedtke in Menominee,Michigan. On December 20, 1990, he married the former Maxine Maloney. Bill worked at Paper Converting, retiring in 1994. He was a member of American Legion Post 0262 and a member of UAW Local 1102. Bill cherished his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed nature, especially watching sunsets on the bay with his loving wife.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; his children, Linda Luedtke, David Luedtke, Lance (Kathy) Luedtke; grandchildren, Robert (Nicole) Sanders, Kari, Jennifer and Billy Luedtke, Zachary & Kristen Luedtke; great grandchildren, Morgan, Mallari, Lanie, Leah (and their mother, Brenda); Steven, Mackenzie and Austin; Kiera and Jordan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donna (John) Tuyls, Tim Maloney, Terence Maloney, Tom (Debi) Maloney, Diane Maloney, Ted (Renee) Maloney. He is also survived by his good friend, Joe Anthony; sister, Dorothy Goich; foster family, Elmer Renier, Elmer Vandervest, Jimmy (Arleen) Vandervest; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, John and Lorraine Maloney, Louie and Lucy Muller; sisters, Charlotte (Jim) Gaines, Marion (Jimmy) Noll; foster family, Jules Vandervest, Florence Vandervest and Marie Renier.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Bill’s name.
