Todd “Willi” Williquette, 47,Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2012. He attendedGreen BaySouthwestHigh Schooland graduated from UW-Whitewater. Todd was employed at Wm. Dix Lumber for 28 years. He married high school classmate Tina Van Drisse on March 20, 1993 and was the father of Madeline and Quinn.
Todd was an avid bowler, once featured in the Press Gazette for bowling a 794 series, while using both borrowed shoes and ball; a softball pitcher who had the accomplishment of pitching a no-hitter; and a not so good golfer but somehow managed a “hole-in-one”. He was a colon cancer survivor after being diagnosed at the age of 37. He shared a love of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers with his 12-year old son, Quinn. His greatest love was watching and coaching his son playing multiple sports. Todd and his family had the experience of a lifetime when he was the assistant coach of Quinn’s Green Bay East Side Sluggers Baseball Team at the Regional Cal Ripken League Tournament in KY last summer.
Todd is survived by his wife, Tina; and son, Quinn; his sisters, Dana Williquette and Jenny Flanagan and brother Mark (Christine); uncle Brad (Barb) Mommaerts; Tina’s parent’s Jerry and Kathy Van Drisse and brother in-law, Jon (Karen) Van Drisse; nephews and nieces Andrew & Taylor Williquette and Nick & Samantha Van Drisse; and also his stepmother, Cathy Williquette (Tom Mireau) and stepsister, Kelly Williquette.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Madeline; parents, Richard and Judith Pollak, Wayne Williquette and uncle, Ron Mommaerts.
Todd will be great missed by all who knew him. He will always be remembered as a wonderful father, husband, brother, son, friend and coach and for just being an all-around great guy who never had a bad word to say.
Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home,1630 E. Mason St.on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service 7pm at the funeral home with Father Tim Shillcox officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Todd’s name.
