Rita C. (Dequaine) Lardinois, 85, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born on September 22, 1926 inKewauneeCounty, Town ofRed Riverto the late Jule and Lucy (Cravillion) Dequaine. On July 31, 1946, she married James B. Lardinois at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dyckesville. Together, among raising children of their own, they also were foster parents to several children inMilwaukee. After returning toGreen Bay, she was employeed at Schreiber Foods until her retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Annette Gay, Debbie Lardinois; son, Greg, all of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Kim (Tom) Piontek, Green Bay, Corey Gay, Oshkosh, Ryan Lardinois, Green Bay, Jordan Lardinois, Green Bay; two great grandsons, Jonathan (Nicole) Piontek, Christopher Piontek; great-great- grandson, Brayden, all of Green Bay; sister, Cecelia “Ceil” Dart; sisters-in-law, Florence Dequaine, Lucille Wery, Darlene (Vincent) Kinnard, Maxine (John) Stegmann, LaVerne Lardinois; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim”; son, James L. Lardinois; grandson, Shane Malliet; son-in-law, Wayne J. Gay; Jims parents, Benjamin (Lena) Lardinois; brothers, Joseph (Elsie) Dequaine, Arnold (Ruby) Dequaine, Raymond Dequaine, Jules (Marie) Dequaine; sisters, Louise (Anthony) Collin, Marie (George) Boucher; brother-in-law, Clifford Dart; sister-in-law, Ethel (Emil) Bosdeck; brothers-in-law, Donald Wery, Bernard Lardinois, Milton Lardinois.
