Christopher Voght, 21, town of Glenmore died unexpectedly Thursday, December 29, 2011. He was born April 8, 1990 in Green Bay, WI. He graduated from Denmark high school in 2008. He was employed by Belgioioso Cheese and was a partner in Timmbr Excavating and was always on-call for the “old man”.
Chris was a very giving, outgoing, sensitive, soft hearted, and kind to all. He enjoyed numerous outdoor activities, especially fishing, bow hunting, and snow mobiling. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and joking around sharing a laugh. He exceeded his expectations at the age of 20. Chris was always willing to lend a helping hand and in a final act of compassion, his organs were donated to give the gift of life.
Survivors include his mother, Tammy Viegut; “Dad” Timm Gay; biological father, Curt Voght; brother, Justin (LaRae) McFaul, Vilsek, Germany; sister, Angela M. Voght,Green Bay; grandparents, Allen (Wendy) Viegut, Green Bay; great grandmother, Dorothy Brisbin, St.Paul, MN. Special friend, Sabrina Sprenger-Martens; beloved puppy, Mader; numerous aunts and uncles and many friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, David (Lorraine) Gay; great grandfather, Donald Brisbin.
Friends and family may call Tuesday, January 3, from 4-8 p.m. at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St . Funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jill Connery officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
