Linnae Louise (Gaddis) Schemmel, 53, of Billings, Montana, formerly of Green Bay, passed away on Dec. 22, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 25, 1956 in Waseca, MN to the late Dale and Shirley (Anthony) Gaddis. She moved to Green Bay, WI in the early 60’s with her family and resided in Green Bay until 1993 at which time she moved to Billings with her husband Bud and two sons. Linnae worked for several local law firms while in Montana. Later on Linnae and Bud divorced but remained close friends. Bud provided Linnae’s care throughout her illness. Her favorite hobby was going to auctions and flea markets finding many treasures that became part of her home. Linnae is survived by her ex-husband, Bud Schemmel, two sons, Ryan Lenz and Stephen Schemmel, one grandson, Chaz Schemmel; two sisters, Sue (Tobe) Cravillion and Gwen Gaddis (Dave Pelnar); niece, Sarah Cravillion (John Mancoske) and their daughter Autumn Louis; nephews, Luke Cravillion and Nicholas Chervenka. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mamye Gaddis, and maternal grandparents, Calvin and Marion Anthony. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with John Knickerbocker officiating.
