Shirley Mae Johnson, 71, Green Bay, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Shirley was born on Jan. 9, 1937 to the late Raymond and Mary (Rizzi) Du Val. She married the late Melnard Johnson and they had five daughters together. Shirley was a woman of strong faith and love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed her church, Cornerstone Family Church and was active there until her illness prevented her. She loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with them. She also enjoyed reading and cooking for friends and family. She will be sadly missed by her five children: Paulette Johnson, Oshkosh; Michele (Steve) Braun, Wauwatosa; Maureen (Timm) Cisler, Oconto Falls; Clarice Johnson, Oshkosh; Coleen (Fiance Charlie McMillie) Johnson, Green Bay; ten grandchildren: Lukas, Jenny, Dustin, Wesley, Cerissa, Noah, Brittney, Molly, Alicia, Michele; nine great grandchildren: Draven, Cedric, Hannah, Maya, Raelynn, Ariona, Natalie, Domnique, with Ethan on the way. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband and good friend Melnard; several brothers and sisters. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Family Church, 2780 School Lane, Suamico. Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Toyne officiating. Burial at Mt.
