Armella C. Gerondale, 77, Green Bay, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her home, after a short illness. Armella was born on Nov. 8, 1931 in Little Chute to the late Jake and Anne (VanOudenhoven) Lamers. Armella loved spending winter months in Arizona and traveling. She enjoyed playing cards and quilting with Senior Citizens groups. She also enjoyed her time spent with family, friends and playing bingo with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Fred (Kathy) Gerondale, Green Bay; Cindy (Michael) Steeno, Green Bay; Connie (Philip) Bruner, Green Bay; Tom (Debbie) Gerondale, New Franken; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Gonnering, Milwaukee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darrel (Dela) Gerondale, Ohio; Norbert (Esther) Jeanquart, Algoma; Alice Gerondale, Three Lakes; Joyce Gerondale, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Carl Lamers, David Lamers, Tony Lamers, Little Rosemary Lamers, and Rosemary Sell.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial Service 7p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Tom Wojciechowski, OFM officiating. Online condolences may be sent to Armella’s family at www.prokowall.com.
