Nicholas P. Bethke, 29, DePere resident, died tragically Thursday morning, Sept. 18, 2008 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born to Philip Bethke and Melanie (Hebel) Noack on March 15, 1979 in Green Bay. Nic attended East High School, graduating in 1997. He was employed at Land o´ Lakes Dairy with his father, Phil and his younger brother, James. Nic lived every day for his family, especially his daughters. Nic is survived by two daughters Lily and Megan Bethke; his fiancee, Jamie Plog and her children, Cullen O´Keefe, Andrew and Lauryn Foley, DePere; Lily´s mother, Sally Wilson and Megan´s mother, Carrie Smoot; his mother and stepfather, Melanie and Robert Noack, Green Bay; his father and stepmother Philip and Nanette Bethke DePere; two brothers and one sister: Lance, Stephanie and James Bethke, all of DePere; maternal grandparents Terry and Elizabeth Hebel, Green Bay; paternal grandparents Peter and Claire Bethke, Greenleaf; step grandfather Ronald Noack, Green Bay; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step grandparents Adeline Noack and Richard and Nancy Salmon; uncle, George Bethke; aunt, Kathy Ayotte. Friends may call at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, corner of Henry and Deckner Streets after 3 p.m. Monday until the time of service. Funeral Service 7 p.m. Monday at the church with Rev. David Hatch officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be sent to Nic´s family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in Nic´s name for the education of his daughters.
