Sally R. (Libal) Dax, 66, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2009. Sally was born on December 10, 1942 in Green Bay to the late Leon and Dorothy (Stodola) Libal. She was a graduate of Luxemburg High School. On May 4, 1963 Sally married Darrell Dax in Pilsen and they enjoyed over 46 years together. Sally dedicated her life to helping others. She loved helping, consoling, and healing. She was there for anyone in need. Patient. Soft spoken. Selfless. She loved laughing, talking and spending time with her friends. They had a special place in her heart. Sally was a devoted wife, loving mother and truly special grandmother. Her love for her family was unconditional. Her greatest joy was found in time spent with her two granddaughters Lola and Frida. She was their one and only “Amma”. She will be sadly missed by her husband Darrell, Green Bay, children, Kathleen (special friend Eric Klister) Dax, Madison WI, Paul (Veronica Corpus-Dax) Dax and their children Lola and Frida, Green Bay, brothers and sisters Diane (Jim) Seiler, Fremont OH, David (Nancy) Libal, Green Bay, Paul (special friend LeAnne Beno) Libal, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ken (Kathy) Dax, Wabeno, Cynthia Dax-Pagel, Luxemburg, her very special friends, Barbara Mason, Francis Mary, Lynn Van Ven Roy, Peggy Lee, Barb Bartelson, Paula Wagner, Carmen Escamea, Tami Wilcox and Laurie Anderson, as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant brother Joseph Libal, mother-in-law and father-in-law Edmund and Pearl Dax. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 pm at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street. Parish Prayer Service at 7 pm at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street in Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at church with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
