Beverly J Jossart, 76, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2009. Bev was born on June 7, 1933 in Green Bay to the late Louis and Minnie (Kalbes) Stankevitz. On June 13, 1953 she married Ambrose “Jim” Jossart and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1999. Bev worked at Green Bay Canning until she met Jim. She also worked for the family pallet business and for the Green Bay Police Department as a Crossing Guard. Bev was the world’s greatest mom. She and her husband Jim enjoyed many adventures. She also loved gardening. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Bay. She will be sadly missed by her children; Debra (Brian) Koch, Green Bay, David Jossart, New Franken and Craig Jossart, Georgia, 3 grandchildren; Jason Jossart, Alex Koch and Adam Koch, brother Terry (Jean) Stankevitz, sisters; Violet Kollman, Ruby Karlson and Jo Herson, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, 5 brothers; Harvey, Dennis. Edward, Herbert and Orvie Stankevitz, 2 sisters, Angeline Ferron and Eunice Hilke Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason, Green Bay on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Parish Prayer Service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, Green Bay on Wednesday from 10-11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at church with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Your calm and caring assistance in our time of need is so appreciated. Also Thank you to the staff and nurses at Aurora Baycare Medical Center and Ted Tromble from the Pastoral Care Department.
