Mark L. Jesse, 47, Bellevue resident, died early Saturday morning Aug. 22, 2009 following a two year battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1962 in Algoma to Alvin and Kathleen (Mraz) Jesse. Mark graduated from Algoma High School in 1980. He was then employed at Algoma Hardwoods and most recently Green Bay Packaging until his illness wouldn’t allow. Mark was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and enjoyed hunting, watching Packer games and especially racing. His two children and his family were really the most important things to Mark. He is survived by his wife Jamie and their two boys, Tyler and Timothy. His parents Alvin and Kathleen Jesse, Algoma; his brother Lee (Danielle) Jesse, Forestville; his sister Kelli Ciccalone, Dominican Republic; a nephew, Kody and niece,Taylor Carstens; his mother-in-law Jean Haucke, Algoma; his sister-in-law Julie Haucke, Milwaukee; longtime family friend, Mary Jane “Tiny” O’Brien, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wayne Haucke, his paternal grandparents, Oscan and Helen Jesse and maternal grandparents, Adolf and Gladys Mraz. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Road until the time of Mass. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Rev. Ron Belitz officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Algoma. Online condolences may be sent to the Jesse family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established for the children’s education. Mark’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff at Aurora Baycare and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. Also Dr. Patel and Dr. Stevens. The care and consideration given to Mark and his family will never be forgotten
