Laverne M. Feeney, 93, passed away on August 9, 2010, at Angel’s Touch, DePere. She was born to the late William and Agnes (Van Hecke) Trepanier, on Oct. 23, 1916 in Oconto. She married Clarence W. “Red” Feeney on Oct. 2, 1937 at St. Willebrord Church. They had celebrated 61 years of marriage when Red died on Feb. 10, 1999. They lived in Green Bay all of their married life. She was a loving Mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoyed having family gatherings at her house for every holiday and left all of us with a tradition that we will continue with the coming generations. She loved reading and flower gardening. Laverne was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church and a 75-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include three daughters, Sandy (Roger) Heesacker, Sally (James) Vander Loop, Dianne, (Ronald) Staidl, all of Green Bay; 10 grandchildren: Dr. Darren (Tammy) Heesacker, DePere; Craig Heesacker, Rob Heesacker, Green Bay; Stacy (Todd) Destree, Twin Lakes; Brian (Mary) Vander Loop, Michelle (Chuck) Hilke and Dawn (Ed) Frommung, all of Green Bay; Sean (Jen) Staidl, Menomonie, WI; Adam (Jen) Staidl, Green Bay; Casey Staidl, stationed in Sicily; 25 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant granddaughter, parents, brothers, Marvin, Basil and Galen Trepanier, one sister, Luella Bostedt, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church 312 Victoria St., from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 4 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jose Antonio Castaneda officiating.
