Mary Ann Moore, 64, Sturgeon Bay, passed away July 28, 2010 at Unity Hospice’s Jack and Engrid Meng Residence after a long fight against breast cancer. Born in Green Bay on April 30, 1946, she is the daughter of Ruth and the late Harold Schultz. On September 9, 1967 she was united in marriage to James D. Moore. She was most recently employed with the Women’s Employment Project Inc.in Sturgeon Bay. She also worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and WSBW radio station where she was known as “Radio Woman”. She will be remembered as a humorous and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Robin Van Buren, Huntington Beach, CA and her children, Kaitlyn and Ethan; Tammy (Joe) Trzebiatowski, Rosholt, WI and their children, Jenna, Sydney and Isabelle; mother, Ruth Schultz, Green Bay; and brothers, Edward Schultz; Robert Schultz, Green Bay.

A memorial service will be held at a future date. There will be no visitation upon Mary Ann’s request. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.prokowall.com. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established in Mary Ann’s name.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff members of Unity Hospice for their care and support. Also to her oncologist Dr. Anthony Jaslowski, nurses, and other hospital staff for their excellent care.
