Terry L. Otero, 63, Suamico resident, passed away peacefully after a short courageous battle with cancer on Thursday morning, July 1, 2010. He was born on April 10, 1947 to the late Bill and Betty (Ray) Otero. Terry grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he then met the former Dyann Styles and they were married on November 25, 1971.. Terry was known to be an adventurous person with a love for the outdoors. He loved his family and many friends and lived with no regrets.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dyann; children, Yvonne and Michelle Otero; sister, Janice Otero; and mother-in-law, Helen Styles.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Stan Styles.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday, July 8 after 2:30 p.m. until the time of service. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. David Kasperek officiating. Online condolences may be sent to Terry’s family at www.prokowall.com

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
