Francis "Butch" Siudzinski
Born in Green Bay, WI on Dec 30, 1937
Departed on Jun 11, 2008 and resided in Village of Bellevue, WI
Francis Edmund "Butch" Siudzinski loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend (to so many), unexpectedly departed into eternal life on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the age of 70 years old. In the words of Thomas Paine, " That which we obtain too easily, we esteem too lightly. It is dearness that gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to put the proper price on its goods."
Butch was the second child of four children born to Edmund and Marcella Siudzinski of Denmark, WI. In April 1962, Butch married Carole Lytie. Butch and Carole were married 41 years, during which they lovingly raised 4 children. They were then blessed to watch the family expand, and today include 8 grandchildren with one currently on the way. Carole and Butch enjoyed many wonderful joys in life, including spending much time with their children and building a family cottage on Beecher Lake, WI. When Carole died in 2003, the family was devastated, and the future became unclear. However, Butch´s willingness to love unconditionally and courageously face the challenges of life brought him a second chance at happiness.
In August 2006, Butch married Carol Runnoe, also a widow, and expanded his family to eventually include 9 immediate children, 20 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Butch and Carol proved that the ability to continue to share love can bring two diverse families together and create something so special that neither family would be able to attain alone. It is a lesson they have taught both families about turning tragedy into selfless love. It will be treasured long after the pain of Butch´s departure from this Earth.
Butch lived his entire life in the Wisconsin area, spending most of his career with Goodyear Tire and Brad Ragan. After retirement, Butch started a new career in volunteer work, offering much of his time to many different organizations, too many to mention and mentioning them would have not have been "his style". Through this full and busy life Butch met many, many friends who he treasured dearly. As an early riser, Butch made the best of every day, including breakfast and cards with his Hardee´s buddies at least twice a week, making sure Carol and "all" the kids and grandchildren had help in anything they needed, and then moved on to any other activities that needed tending. Butch had a special gift to touch people´s lives and hearts without effort just by being genuine, lending a hand when needed, and showing confidence and interest in other´s abilities and just demonstrating an unsaid spirit that could made others feel valued.
Butch is survived by his wife, Carol Leiterman-Runnoe, Bellevue; Joe and Judy Siudzinski (Autumn and Logan); Jenny and Tim Schmidt (Sadie and Eric); Tim Siudzinski (Seattle, Washington); Tina and Brian Haanen (Della, Abby, Frank, and Gabe); Cindy and Kevin Kuehl (April and Jason Gast, Bradly Kane, Katie Kane, and Meghan Kuehl); Greg and LaRee Runnoe (Amber and Ariel); Chris and Tim Farrell (Randy); Connie and Jeff Beckett (Hayley, Jaimee, and Mackenzie; Troy, MI); Gordon and Deb Runnoe (Emily and Grant); and three great-grandchildren; Butch is further survived by his sisters, Donna Carpenter (Stevens Point), and Bette (Dick) Halbrooke, his brother, John (Judy) Siudzinski, (Appleton). Dorothy Van Beaver-Thiede, Janice Kropp, and Donna Bartell. Special friends Jim and Judy Lauscher.
