Patricia H. Nighorn, 58, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 after a long illness, with her family at her side. Pat was born on Sept. 16, 1949 in Monroe, WI to the late Norman L. and Helen S. (Resar) Hicks. At age 38 Pat became ill with Huntington´s Disease. Before she became ill she was an active and vibrant woman. She liked to travel, and loved cooking and entertaining family and friends. She touched so many lives. She also loved being a mom and grandma; and was a huge Elvis fan.

She is survived by her children: Rob (Cheryl) Steeno, Chicago; Jody (Brian) Westlund, Green Bay; Chris Nighorn, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Charlie Westlund and Amelia Westlund. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters: Esther Susan Hicks, Chicago; Mary (Bob) Romuald, Abrams; Burt Hicks, Green Bay; close family friend Carol Fendt; three nephews: Jeff Hicks, Brian Hicks, Jason Hicks; one niece Tahlia Rasmussen; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Larry Hicks.

Friends may call on Thursday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 9 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating.
