Elizabeth "Betty" (Klein) Flynn, 83, Green Bay, passed away on March 11, 2008. Betty was born on April 30, 1924 in Green Bay to the late Lawrence and Ellen (Ferris) Geano. She graduated High School in Peshtigo Wisconsin and then moved to Green Bay where she graduated from the Wisconsin College of Cosmetology. Betty was married to Robert Klein and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1963. She married Patrick Flynn on December 22, 1973 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2001. Although Betty´s first priority was raising her family, for many years she owned and operated her own Beauty Shop. After her first husband died she worked out of her home. Betty loved time with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking. Many a time her children would arrive home from school to be greeted by the smell of fresh baked bread and St. Patrick´s Day always meant green bread to take to school. The college years always brought home-made care packages the children and grandchildren always looked forward to. She also loved time up north at the cottage and many happy times were spent in Wisconsin´s north woods. She will be sadly missed by four children; Chris Klein and Pat Klein, both Green Bay; Paul Klein and Beth Janssen, Amherst Junction and Frank Klein, Algoma, seven grandchildren; Erin, Sarah, Benjamin, Jessica, Ian, Will and Caleb, one great grand-daughter Katie, as well as many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Robert and her second husband Patrick, one son Michael and her sister Lucille Kunzer. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason St., Green Bay on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 3-6 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 6 pm at the funeral home with Sr. Helen Keyzer officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel and Mausoleum. The family would like to express a thank you to the staff and nurses of the nursing homes Betty was at, as well as the staff at the Curative Workshop and Betty´s family, neighbors and in-home care givers whose care and help allowed her to stay in her home.
