Jacqueline “Jackie” Siudzinski died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born June 19, 1930 in Green Bay to the late Phillip and Irene (Kreuser) Zilles. Jackie was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. She married Norbert “Gabe” Siudzinski on June 14, 1952 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Jackie enjoyed gardening, traveling and playing cards with numerous card clubs. She also enjoyed going out to lunch and shopping. She was a member of the VFW Winiecki Post Women’s Auxiliary and St. Philip the Apostle Church. Jackie treasured her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Norbert; their five children: Jeanine (Mike) Mead, DePere; Mike Siudzinski, Green Bay; Lynn (Al) Paal, Green Bay; Lori (Jeff) Harrill, Green Bay; Dan (Mary) Siudzinski, Denmark; 12 grandchildren: Scott (Liana), Christopher (Jennifer), Shaun, Sara, Jason, Bradley, Adam (Lisa), Kyle, Andrea, Casey, Matt, and Halie; great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jim (Bev) Zilles, Green Bay; and her sister, Jeanne Brunette, Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ellen Zilles.
Friends may call at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Entombment to follow in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in her name.
Jackie’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Meves, Dr. Gapinski and the nurses and staff at Aurora BayCare for all the care and concern given to Jackie and her family.
