Dona J. Miller, 76, of Allouez, WI, checked out peacefully in a local hospital on February 17, 2010. She was born on January 20, 1934 in Wrightstown, WI to the late Frank and Vera (Roebke) Huntington. Dona married Harold E. Miller on July 27, 1954. Dona worked for the State of Wisconsin for many years until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed tending her vegetable and flower gardens, crocheting, painting, and was a longtime member of the NRA. She was a loving and devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandson. She is survived by her children, Vera Miller, Green Bay; William (Taska) Miller, Shawsville, VA; Joel (Christine) Miller, Green Bay; Darin Miller, Green Bay; Jessie (Doug) Carpiaux, Milwaukee; and son-in-law, Gary Rosenkranz, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Shannan (Todd) Delvoe, Shane Schultz, Amanda Allen and Steve Miller; one great-grandson, Hayden, Green Bay. She is also survived by eight sisters and one brother. Dona was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her daughter, Holly Rosenkranz, and two brothers, Roger Huntington and Vern Huntington. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date.
