Robert David De Greef, 54, Denmark, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2008. Bob was born on January 22, 1954 in Green Bay Wisconsin to Robert and Verna (Warpinski) De Greef. He was a graduate of Preble High School. After graduation Bob served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps. He was employed at Smithfield (formerly Packerland Packing) and also owned a small hobby farm in the Denmark area. Bob loved his family most of all but he also loved racing and fixing cars, deer hunting and working his farm. He loved animals and especially loved his dog Jake. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Rosalina (special friend Charlie Ruohonen) De Greef and her son Matthew De Greef-Taicher, son Andrew De Greef, step-daughter Florence (Tom) Rabas and her 3 children all of Denmark, mother Verna De Greef, and brother Richard Henry (Denise) De Greef, all of Greenleaf, his dog Jake and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Robert H. De Greef and 1 brother David "Teddy Bear" De Greef. Friends may call on Tuesday February 19, 2007 from 3-7 pm at Proko-Wall Funeral Home and Crematory, 1630 East Mason Street, 468-4111. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home at 7 pm. Burial at SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to express a Thank You to the EMT´s who responded to the scene as well as the Chaplain at Smithfield and the Chaplain at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
