Stephen Peter Kyles, 60, Green Bay passed away on February 7, 2010 at his home. Stephen was born on April 15, 1949 in Green Bay to the late Paul Sr. and Hilda (Bowers) Kyles. He was a graduate of Premontre High School and attended NWTC in Green Bay for two years. On June 27, 1975 Stephen married the former Teresa Rose Erickson and they enjoyed over 34 years together. He was employed with Lord’s Dental Studio, Inc as a Dental Technician. He loved fishing, playing golf and taking daily walks. He liked reading, playing cards and exploring Wisconsin’s many small towns. Stephen was also an avid Packers fan and loved watching Packers games. He will be sadly missed by his wife Teresa, daughter Rebecca R. Kyles, Rancho Cucamonga CA, brothers Paul (Jane) Kyles Jr, William Kyles and Mark (Kris) Kyles, all of Green Bay and Doug (Mary Jo) Kyles, De Pere, sisters Judy Kyles and Mary Jane (Charles) Allard, both of Green Bay as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred Kyles, father-in-law Harold M. Erickson, niece Janelle Waterman and grand-niece Jenna Gille. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street on Thursday from 6-7 pm. Memorial Service at 7 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Ken DeGroot, O.Praem officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. Due to family allergies, the family requests no flowers or plants. A memorial fund has been established in Stephen’s name. Teresa and Rebecca would like to thank their family, friends and neighbors for their help, support and prayers during this time. A special thanks to the staff at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, St. Luke’s Medical Center and Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee for Stephen’s treatment. May blessings be bestowed upon the staff of Lord’s Dental Studio, Inc. for all the concern they showed for Stephen. They also want to recognize Debbie Butz, an RN with Bellin and on-site worker at Lord’s Dental for all her professional advise and follow-up calls to Stephen and Teresa. Their gratitude also goes out to the Aurora Visiting Nurses Association of Wisconsin for their comprehensive Hospice care.
