Stanley Paul Harris, 53, Suamico, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday morning, January 29, 2010. Paul was born on July 30, 1956 to the late Stanislaus and Beverly (Peters) Harris in Escanaba, MI. He married the former Deb Wiley in Green Bay Dec. 31, 1997. Paul owned and operated the Harris Karate Academy in Green Bay since 1982. He has touched many lives through his knowledge and inspiration in martial arts. Paul holds black belts in seven different systems. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing for family and friends. He always loved being in nature and playing with his animals. Paul was a true family man and nobody was more respected. He is survived by his loving wife, Deb; children, Dan (Holly) Ryan and their children, Ivy, Ella and Fin; Alena Harris, Andrew Harris, Josh (Megan) Wiley, Heather (Ben) Berken and their daughter, Zoey; and Jennifer Wiley; 2 brothers, 4 sisters; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Al Moeller. Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Celebration Church, 3475 Humboldt Rd., on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral service 10 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ross Skorzewski officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the Harris family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
