Robert Lee “Matty” VanLannen, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 28, 2010. He was born on July 9, 1944. He was a graduate of Premontre High School. For many years he worked as a private landscaper. His free time activities included traveling, riding motorcycle, going to rummage sales and spending time in the woods. He also enjoyed his morning cup of coffee at the local cafes.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina VanLannen, Green Bay; sons, Jesse VanLannen, Milwaukee; Shawn VanLannen, Green Bay; grandsons, Preston and Brock; sister, Linda Sugden, Stewartville, MO; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Matthias VanLannen, and his brother, Jim Kraizewski.

The family would like to express a thank you to those who extended “Matty” a helping hand through his journey of life. He was a creative many with many ideas and his free spirit touched many lives. May he rest in peace.
