Vivian M. Pigeon, 94, Green Bay resident, died Monday January 25, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born June 10, 1915 in the Town of Luxemburg to the late George and Mary (Deterville) Linzmeier. Vivian married Louis Pigeon on November 28, 1939 at St. Amand's Catholic Church in Walhain. He preceded her in death in 1977. Vivian was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Parish.
She is survived by three sisters: Marian Resch, Manitowoc; Hilaria Le Cloux, Kewaunee and Vernie Rott, De Pere. One sister-in-law, Ethel Linzmeier, Luxemburg, nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Alvin and Bud Linzmeier; one sister, Rose Marie Linzmeier; four brother-in-laws: Frank Resch, Lindy Le Cloux, Harry and Bill Pigeon; three sister-in-laws: Ann Peters, Lucille Van Lieshout and Marvel Linzmeier
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home 1630 E. Mason St. from 4-8 pm Thursday and after 9:30 am Friday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St. until time of Mass. Parish wake service 7:00 pm Thursday, Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday at the church with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Entombment to follow at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
