Carl E. Street 91, Green Bay resident, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010. He was born Feb. 21, 1918 in Aldrich, Alabama to the late William and Nellie (Morgan) Street. On April 18, 1947 he married Audrey Ross in Bud, West Virginia. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 1997. Carl served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II from 1942-1946. He worked as a Medical Technologist at Bellin Hospital for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. He was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. During his early years he loved hunting and fishing, but family life was a priority for Carl. He loved carpentry, building and remodeling. He also loved traveling with Audrey. He will be remembered by all for his positive attitude and great sense of humor. Carl was a kind, gentle, loving man. He always saw the good in everyone. Carl loved his family with all his heart and was an anchor and role model for all Survivors include two children, Patsy (Richard) Nickel, Green Bay; Michael Street, Green Bay; and daughter-in-law, Kay Street, DePere. He is also survived by five grandchildren: R. Paul (Anne Marie) Nickel II, Anthony (Heather) Nickel, Lisa (Jason) Butler, Stephanie Street, and Ross Street; 2 great-grandchildren, Richie Nickel and Grant Nickel. In addition to his spouse, Audrey and parents, Carl was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E.
