Jacqueline A. Douglass, 95, Green Bay resident, passed away on Thursday morning, January 14, 2010 at a local care facility. She was born on April 29, 1914 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Frank and Theresa (Koestner) Babcock. Jacqueline was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. On April 12, 1986 she married Robert Douglass at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Green Bay. Jacqueline worked for JC Penney for 12 years working her way up to a management position. She loved flowers and tending to her garden. Jacqueline was very active in the Altar Rosary Society at St. Bernard for many years. Jackie was always full of life. Survivors include her husband, Robert; children, Dennis (Lydia) Yanda, Kathleen Yanda; grandchildren, LuAnne, Vince (Heather), Troy (Missy), Corey (special friend, Trisha), Shane; 16 great grandchildren; step children, Anne (Gordon) Albertson; Ellen (Thomas) Rineck and Roger Douglass. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Yanda on Oct. 29, 1983; step daughter, Mary Gunderson; and many brothers and sisters. Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln., on Monday after 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Tony Cirignani officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family.
